Kate Molkentin
Since joining Results Legal in 2020, Kate has acted for a wide range of clients in contractual and commercial disputes, insolvency, banking, finance and trade credit.
Kate regularly acts for banks and non-bank lenders in security enforcement and recovery proceedings.
Kate has a keen interest in insolvency law and regularly advises liquidators and bankruptcy trustees. She is presently a member of the Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Queensland committee.
Kate takes pride in her ability to provide clear and commercial advice to achieve her clients’ objectives.
Most proud of / biggest win
Achieving an out-of-court settlement in respect of a non-party costs order brought by the liquidator against a shadow Director, where it was agreed that the Director and non-party would pay the liquidator’s costs of the proceeding. I found it very rewarding to achieve such a great outcome for our client.
