Julia O’Connor | Associate
As an associate at Results, Julia practises in our three specialisations, with particular experience in commercial dispute resolution, ranging from minor claims to large scale disputes.
Julia has represented a broad range of clients, but has specialised experience in the banking and finance and property industries. Specifically, her experience includes (among others) advising risk management strategies, acting in litigation with trade practices disputes, general contractual disputes, franchise disputes, property contract disputes, security enforcement and debt recovery.
Admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia, plus providing significant experience in the New South Wales and Victorian courts, Julia presents a wealth of benefits to her clients.
Michael McDonnell | Senior associate
As a senior associate, Michael provides high level advice to clients from various professional and industry groups in the areas of commercial disputes, insolvency matters (having acted both for and against insolvency appointees) and in complex debt recovery matters.
Michael’s experience has seen him achieve an enviable record of success for his clients. His expertise includes contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, trade practices actions, realising and enforcing securities and general commercial disputes for and on behalf of directors, shareholders and business owners.
Michael handles some of the more complex litigation at Results and enjoys formulating strategies to assist clients resolve their matters on the best possible terms, in a speedy and cost effective manner.
Brooke Cox | Solicitor
Brooke has spent the last four years achieving impressive results for her clients in the fields of commercial and debt recovery litigation. Her targeted fields of expertise, coupled with success in corporate and personal insolvency cases (acting primarily for creditors and insolvency practitioners), arm Brooke well across our three areas of specialisation.

Lisa Phegan | Case manager
Lisa is responsible for maintaining the day to day conduct of debt recovery litigation files at Results Legal Solutions.
Lisa’s proven record has been created through years of specialised experience in debt recovery within commercial litigation services.

Sharnie Banes | Case manager
Sharnie is experienced in all three of our specialisation areas, but focuses her talents on case management in our debt recovery division.
With experience across a range of Australian jurisdictions, Sharnie keeps a well trained eye on a diverse range of debt recovery cases, ensuring constant efficiency and accuracy. Sharnie’s clients (a balance of direct industry and debt collection agencies), are kept well informed of their case progress and enjoy the confidence of knowing their matters are carefully and professionally managed at all times.
Stacy Heath | Senior associate
Stacy's role as a senior associate at Results sees her successfully balance hands on work with a senior management role.
Stacy manages many high end litigation and insolvency cases, in addition to supervising the progress of a broad range of debt recovery and litigation matters conducted by other team members.
Stacy has a strong and broad litigation record with notable success in factually complex high end litigation cases. In addition to many direct industry clients, professional firms such as accountants and liquidators regularly refer work to Stacy.
Also supervising both contested and uncontested debt recovery work, Stacy plays a pivotal role in a wide range of cases and is a key point of contact for both staff and clients.
Sarah Hill | Accountant
Sarah is our in-house accountant.
Her accounting career experience, coupled with her detailed knowledge of Results make her the perfectly balanced person to oversee our finance and accounting functions.
Kathy Henshaw | Accounts manager
Kathy applies her years of experience in legal finance to running all of Results' day-to-day accounts functions.
Kathy keeps a close eye on the figures of every job and is happy to keep our clients updated should they have any questions.
Kathy also assists our accountant, Sarah, with the overall financial management of Results Legal Solutions.
Karl Hill | Director
Karl is the Director of Results Legal Solutions. He possesses a wealth of experience and an exremely successful track record in corporate and personal insolvency, debt recovery and commercial disputes.
A solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia, Karl honed his skills prior to founding Results, with many years at a senior level in a national law firm.
Always searching for a better solution, Karl challenged and streamlined everything about the traditional processes, carefully crafting a model that worked for the client. The outcome is Results Legal Solutions.
Karl possesses a rare balance of knowledge, strategic thinking and clear communication. These attributes are strongly reflected in the work performed for clients, and the personality of Results Legal Solutions as a whole.
Christopher Lee | Solicitor
Christopher performs a range of roles in all three specialisations, with a strong focus on contested debt recovery litigation.
In the field of debt recovery, it is not only direct industry clients who find Christopher's results an effective and welcome relief. Debt Collection Agents rely heavily on Christopher's skill and expertise in running contested debt recovery litigation.
Also performing in insolvency and commercial disputes, Christopher's quality and diversity is of great benefit to our clients.
Bronwyn Macken | Executive assistant
In addition to managing general office administration, Bronwyn is kept very busy as assistant to Stacy, Michael, Julia and Christopher.
Ben Hamilton | Executive assistant \ systems development
Ben plays a very important role at Results in successfully ensuring that the operations side of the business runs smoothly and effectively.
In addition to performing the role of assistant to Karl and Brooke, Ben is responsible for developing and streamlining systems, practice and procedure.
Ben is the key person in development and automation of our systems for efficient performance of legal work on client files. He also develops quality assurance processes for the team so that our standards of quality and service are applied consistently to our clients.
Ben keeps Results on the cutting edge of technology.
